We had my Birthday dinner, it was delicious, very generous portions. Service was excellent!! Don the head chef was incredible and met all our allergies restrictions. Melanie and Branden were incredible very friendly and so helpful! I definitely recommend this Restaurant! Thank you so much for a wonderful day!
Brandon at Iron Skillet Barrie on Saturday January 25 was amazing! The food was deliciously amazeballs and beyond expectation. After having a bad day, Brandon turned my bad day into an excellent evening. Had the seafood mac and cheese Caesar salad and french onion soup. We ended the night with funnel cake fries. All wonderful food. Thank you Brandon for making our night.
We had a very enjoyable Sunday evening dinner. Brandon was an excellent server, super friendly and efficient. The food was great and portions were plentiful. We had the Seafood schnitzel and the Teriyaki stir fry with shrimp.
Wonderful New Years Eve dinner. Brandon was amazing as our server. Friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was amazing and pretty large portions. We spoke to the chef Don and his wife Melanie who are the owners. Super nice people. We will definitely be back for the homemade bread pudding. (Too full for dessert tonight)
Just had dinner here for the first time but it definitely will not be the last. We both had the Prime Rib special. Every part of the meal was delicious and the yorkshire pudding was massive. Brandon was our server and he was excellent!
My son is in the military, we came for the weekend to visit him. Came to the Iron Skillet for breakfast on Sunday morning. We were greeted warmly by the owner Melanie. Brought us our drinks, the coffee is very good. The 3 of us had western omelets, and 2 eggs over easy with bacon. The portions were very good, and the homefries were perfect. Filled up the coffee a few times was fresh each time. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the other diners seemed happy, and all the other servers greeted everyone in good moods. Will come back here again next visit.
Just had a fantastic first experience at The Iron Skillet Barrie! We had two of today's specials, one was the Smotherd Prime Rib and the other was the Parmesean Crusted Pikerel. Both were amazing. My daughter also had the Penne with Tomato sauce and it was very good as well! Brandon's service was great! He was friendly and knowledgeable and had great suggestions! We will definitely be back soon! UPDATE: I wasn't joking when I said we would be back soon! Came back the following week for my 35th Birthday Dinner. I had the morrocan chicken special and it was fantastic! There were 9 of us in total and the food and service was top notch! We had Brandon as our server again and he is such a gem! I must say, although this is on the opposite side of the city for us, it's worth the trip and I think I have found my new fave spot! If I had one request, it would be to have the option of some different veggies but that's no biggie.
We had great schnitzel dinners at The Iron Skillet in Barrie. The portions sizes are large and everything was tasty. We also enjoyed the bruschetta with goat cheese and balsamic glaze for an appetizer. Our server Brandon was warm, helpful and very attentive. Our family will definitely return!
